‘Ray of hope in the dark ages’
India is a country which is walking on the path of progress, the country is ringing the
bugle of development in the world, whether we talk about the progress of the
country or the same thing towards the growing women in the logo or anything
else, India is progressing in each sector.
Except a few
things, ‘ Human Mentality & Acceptance’
Nowadays
people have changed their mindset towards everything, this change will continue
to open up in the moving life.
Acceptance of everything in humans has
increased, attitudes have changed to look at that thing.
But when we
talk about the LGBT community, then where does the growing human mentality and
acceptance in the people disappear?
If we talk
about the current scenario of the LGBT community in India, do you think it has
changed?
Even after
one year of section 377 being unconstitutional According to Section 377 of the
IPC, if a person has unnaturally sexual relations, he can be imprisoned for up
to ten years with life imprisonment or fine.
People in
the LGBT community is fighting for equal rights and acceptance. people in the
LGBT community is looked down upon all the time. This is a major issue because
discrimination against the LGBT community is highly prevalent.
People's
prejudices lead them to think that LGBT people are heterogeneous and very
different.
We often
hear ‘all humans are equal’ but when it comes to the LGBT community, where do
these biases come from?
Today,
homosexuality and other queuing identities may be more acceptable to Indian
youth than before, but within the boundaries of families, homes, and schools,
acceptance is still a constant struggle for LGBT people.
Yes, we are
a country where a person is ashamed and hesitant to reveal his real identity to
his family members.
There are
some people who have come forward who put their identity in front of their
families, but there are others who are still waiting for the opportunity to
talk to their family and are living dual lives.
If a person
pretends to be something else by hiding his true identity, then one is as good
as dead and no one talks about dead people.
Many countries have legalized same-sex marriage noting the
freedom to love and freedom to marry of their own choice.
Everyone has the right to marriage since marriage is all
about love and not gender.
Every year LGBT people face a lot of problems related to
violence, unemployment, discrimination, health care, poverty in their life due to their sexual identity.
India will be called a developed country when it learns to
see everyone with a glance whether it is male, female, gay, lesbian, bisexual,
transgender.
